This answer says the complete Sim platform is available under Apache 2.0, and the related “Is Sim free?” answer says it can be self-hosted without a software license fee. However, the self-host build includes apps/sim/ee, whose license and README state that production use requires an active Enterprise subscription. Readers could therefore incorrectly assume that enterprise functionality is Apache-licensed and subscription-free. Please qualify these statements to cover the Apache-licensed core or reconcile the enterprise license before publishing.

Content update to
apps/sim/content/library/openai-vs-n8n-vs-sim: Refresh the existing blog post at /blog/openai-vs-n8n-vs-sim without changing its URL or slug. Replace the current structure with the answer-first comparison supplied here: update the H1, add the key-facts block and decision tables, distinguish agent-first versus automation-first versus OpenAI-platform-first architecture, and strengthen the licensing and self-hosting analysis. Preserve any existing source-backed facts, figures, examples, screenshots, and citations that remain accurate, merging them into the relevant new sections rather than discarding them. Remove or correct stale claims that call n8n OSI-approved open source; n8n uses the source-available Sustainable Use License. Keep Sim identified as Apache 2.0. Recheck all September 2026 pricing, billing, plan-limit, product-packaging, and license statements against the linked first-party vendor pages immediately before publication. Migrate every FAQ question and its plain-text answer into the renderer’s FAQ frontmatter so FAQPage schema is emitted automatically; do not add manual JSON-LD. Preserve the page’s direct-comparison intent and route the broad “best AI agent builder” head term to /library/best-ai-agent-builder-2026 to avoid cannibalization.
