Updates the release-manager skill with what the latest release turned up. Each change is general guidance, not tied to that release.

  • Changelog placement. Entries go where their user impact puts them when the commit prefix disagrees: a fix that gives a command new observable behavior goes in Features, and a fix that makes a command reject input it used to drop silently stays in Fixes, not Breaking Changes. Highlights now hold new capabilities and security fixes only (up to 5, and one or two is fine); prominent bug fixes go in Fixes.
  • Credit and Bundled Versions. Credit both authors when a PR carries over a superseded PR. The Bundled Versions table gains a Changelog column that links the upstream release notes for every version in the upgraded range.
  • Smoke-test triage.
    • Local TLS inspection can break every bridge fetch with fetch failed; set NODE_EXTRA_CA_CERTS.
    • Release-age gates on freshly published dependencies are project policy: fix them on the test branch, not in migrate.
    • The prerelease commit version does not match *, which can surface as a duplicate vite-plus under pnpm, phantom vite@* checks, or npm 10 $vite-plus override errors. Rule these out with the previous-release control before treating them as blockers.
  • Long sweeps and fork CI.
    • Concurrent pnpm installs sharing one store can stall without an orphan process.
    • depot-* and namespace-profile-* runner labels need the same mapping as blacksmith-*, and the smaller GitHub-hosted runners can cause timeouts.
    • The previous cycle's test-branch fixes stay reachable at refs/pull/<N>/head after their branches are deleted, so cherry-pick them before a new sweep.
  • Upstream issues. Search every repository that could own a finding before filing.
  • Docs deployment. An expired VOID_TOKEN fails deploy-docs and skips the Discord notification; rotate the secret, then rerun the failed jobs.

Place changelog entries by user impact, keep Highlights to new capabilities,
credit authors of carried-over PRs, and add a Changelog column to the Bundled
Versions table. Extend smoke-test triage with local TLS inspection, prerelease
`*`-range artifacts, release-age gates, concurrent pnpm store stalls, and
re-applying previous-cycle test-branch fixes. Document recovering from an
expired VOID_TOKEN after the docs deployment fails.
