RouterOS 6 appliances can close the entire SSH connection when SFTP is rejected, leaving the workspace unable to lease its terminal. This change reconnects with the already verified host key and adds a fixed-command, read-only
/filemetadata browser when SFTP remains unavailable. With SFTP permitted, the existing full file manager continues unchanged. The fallback exposes root, parent/home, nested directories and disk roots while keeping previews, transfers, editing, management and mounts unavailable. Remote Settings remains Linux-only.
