A successful generation retry kept the timeline clip’s failed styling, which hides its thumbnail even after the generated image loads.
Derive the error class from the current generation and media-load states, and clear the stale generation tooltip. Genuine media-load errors retain their styling and help badge.
Verify:
npm run verify:cipasses on Node 22, including 2,148 tests, lint, typecheck, builds and package contract checks. Regression tests cover failure → retry → success with and without a separate media-load error.
