This happened after the Compose update. Currently only the settings screen is affected.

Before:

While this is a good change, this is unfortunately not how you fix this issue consistently. The issue stems from our use of padding in the base fragment we use to glue compose and the old xml system. If we remove that padding the Scaffold can reuse the padding. The statusbar colors will be fixed on all fragments when we move to compose navigation, as then we do not have to deal with the custom padding issues.

Understood. I thought it had gone unnoticed, so I tried to fix it. But if it’s already known, then it doesn’t matter.
