Summary

Fix handling of memoryview parameters in ibm_db_dbi by converting them to bytes before passing them to the underlying driver.

Changes

  • Convert memoryview parameters to bytes in Cursor.execute().
  • Apply the same conversion for parameter sequences used by Cursor.executemany().
  • Preserve the existing string conversion behavior for CONVERT_STR types.

Why

memoryview objects need to be converted to bytes before being passed to the underlying ibm_db APIs. Without this conversion, binary parameters represented as memoryview objects may not be handled correctly.

executemany with memoryview (ibm_db_dbi.Binary) stores the repr text in BLOB columns and fails for VARBINARY
