The bug
We I connect my EV3 to my PC using USB the connection gets closed after some time stating that "the IP configuration is not available". Turning IPv4 off as recommend in the Troubleshooting guide did not change the behavior.
Fix
Setting IPv4 mode to Manual instead of Disabled fixed the Problem for me. If others can reproduce may be it is wroth mentioning in the Troubleshooting guide.
