Generate Java-compatible Range Bitmap V1 indexes for configured append columns instead of ignoring range-bitmap options. Reuse the existing embedded and sidecar index paths and validate per-column chunk sizes. Cover Java payload compatibility, range pruning, and append lifecycle. Purpose
Range Bitmap indexes could be read, but append writes ignored their configuration. Generate these indexes during ordinary append writes to enable range predicate pruning on new files.
Brief change log
Tests
124 file-index tests passed with fulltext,vortex, covering Java payload compatibility, chunk boundaries, append lifecycle, and range pruning. Formatting, license headers, and workspace Clippy passed.
API and Format
No public API changes. Uses the existing Java V1 format. Range-bitmap options are now validated and applied during append writes.
