On Windows, C:\Windows\file.txt:stream is a valud path, referencing to the stream NTFS stream in the C:\Windows\file.txt. Should we introduce support for this kind of syntax? Investigate:
- if the .NET methods allow manipulating with this "stream", e.g. if you can do
File.OpenRead on that
- how the other path APIs (.NET and others) work with these streams, what's the
Parent of C:\Windows\file.txt:stream?
- support if if it makes sense, document our support
One very problematic case I imagine: .\C:stream is a stream inside of file .\C, while C:stream is stream file inside C: drive's current directory. Are streams supported in this configuration by Windows?
