The public user documentation lives at shellcanvas.com/docs. The files in this directory are engineering references, contracts, verification records and implementation history for contributors.
- Architecture and connection composition
- Local verification and release checklist
- Contributing, security policy, roadmap and changelog
- Device setup: Home Assistant via Terminal & SSH
- Windows hosts: live acceptance results and remaining interoperability gaps
- Desktop time: remote clock and fallback behavior
- Desktop updates: signed packages, installation guards and platform validation
- Connections and trust: host profiles, SSH host identity, recovery and workspace profiles
- Desktop work: Files, transfers, Editor, Terminal, settings and themes
- Extensions: runtime apps, repository installation, app SDK, adapter SDK and custom services
- System API, app services, service availability, client platform compatibility and window management
- Filesystem contract, workspace bindings, adapter process protocol and providers
- Runtime APIs: files, transfers, console, storage, events, clipboard, network, windows and host settings
Files with validation, completion, progress, history, acceptance, goal, roadmap, backlog, workflows or platform names in their titles are retained engineering evidence. They identify exactly what was tested at a checkpoint; they are not promises that every platform, host or future feature is supported. New evidence should state its date, environment, scope and limitations without including credentials, private host identifiers or user data.
