How is it possible to lose focus while typing in the input box in the Gemini before the page has finished loading?

When the add-on disabled, this is not an issue in the vanilla. It was kinda annoying that I need to click on the input box again.

Thanks for reporting. This sounds likely caused by Voyager auto-applying the default model while a new chat is still loading. That flow can briefly interact with Gemini model picker, which may steal focus from the composer.

Could you try disabling:
Voyager popup -> General -> Auto-apply default model on new chats

Then reload Gemini and check whether the focus issue disappears?

If it still happens, please share your browser, Voyager version, and whether Input Collapse / Draft Auto-save / Input Vim mode are enabled.

That fixed the problem. Will this also be fixed without the Workaround?
